Vicki Greenberg MSN FNP-BC
Vicki Greenberg, MSN, FNP-BC is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She has specialized in women’s health for most of her career. She began her career as a labor and delivery nurse at a local hospital and progressed to managing the entire perinatal services department. Vicki has always had the passion to be a primary care provider. To achieve that goal, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from California State University, Long Beach in 1997. She immediately began providing OB/GYN care, and has devoted most of her career in this speciality. She has also worked in general medicine and integrative medicine. This has served to broaden her scope of practice and incorporate holistic care in the management of her patients' needs. Vicki has also spent time working in the field of addiction medicine,providing a much needed service to the growing issue of addiction in our society.
Vicki has also worked in the academic arena and spent five years as the program manager of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program for the University of Phoenix Southern California Campus. This move to academia ignited her passion for teaching. She is currently Associate Faculty in the graduate MSN/ Family Nurse Practitioner Program at University of Phoenix and teaches women’s health and advanced health assessment courses. In addition, she teaches graduate school students in the Certified Nurse Midwife Program at California State University, Fullerton. Vicki is honored to be able to participate in the training of future primary care providers. She has provided education to the community as well, serving as a guest speaker for various organizations and did a radio show on pertinent medical topics for several years.
