RAY WEAVER, MA, LMFT 45917

Ray Weaver has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field and works with clients to discover new perspectives and insights for your life’s path while facing and overcoming personal and family challenges. Ray earned his undergraduate degree in business from Texas Christian University and he holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies. In addition, he has participated in doctoral studies with an emphasis in family systems therapy.

His treatment approach integrates the practice of various therapy models including Cognitive-Behavioral, Family Systems, and Attachment Theory. A core component to this approach is gaining an understanding of how one defines and experiences meaning in relationships and their personal life. A very common life experience of feeling stuck or weighed down by stress, relationship conflicts, or other emotional factors can create significant distress in our satisfaction at home, work, and among friends.

Ray offers a compassionate and engaged approach during therapy sessions, providing a full range of services for adults, adolescents, couples, and families. His professional interests focus on areas of personal growth and development for individuals, couples and families. Common issues addressed in counseling include depression, anxiety, fatigue, relationship issues, communication conflicts, self-worth, grief and loss, career and work-related issues, addiction, spirituality, marriage and pre-marital counseling, general health, and wellness.

When he is not working, Ray spends time with his family and also enjoys playing sports, swimming, and other outdoor activities.

Ray sees patients at our Yorba Linda and Irvine locations.
