JESSICA BONETTE, MA, LMFT 90415

Jessica Bonette is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from National University of Southern California. Jessica has many years of experience counseling children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.  She believes that therapy is a journey that a client and a therapist go on together. Her goal as a therapist is to help her clients experience the improved life they are seeking and feel empowered in their decisions. The steps to making healthier choices also lead to increased personal strength and self-confidence. As this process unfolds, clients also benefit from new perspectives and insights about themselves, and in relationships with others, resulting in living a more fulfilled and happier life, while gaining more robust coping skills.

Jessica has acquired knowledge and experience in several therapeutic approaches- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, experiential, family systems, and client center therapy. Her approach focuses on the specific needs of the client, which is determined during the first couple visits. The therapy process is conversational in nature and includes taking special care to listen carefully while working together to assess the best method to help clarify and create goals toward healing and personal growth.  Since becoming a therapist, she has worked with an array of adversities such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship problems, parenting issues, self-esteem challenges, grief, abandonment, loss of confidence, and stressful family dynamics.

When not working, Jessica enjoys doing themed 5k races, being with family and friends, going to Disneyland, and improving her skills as a therapist.

Jessica sees patients at our Irvine location.
