JASON PON, MS, LMFT 53241

Jason Pon is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California and has worked for about a decade as a counselor in various settings while building experience working with young adults, teenagers, children, and families.

His practice interests involve working with individuals, families, adolescents, children, and couples struggling with depression, anxiety and stress, addictions, body image and identity, trauma, and intimacy and relationship issues including family conflicts, divorce, reunification, and parenting/communication issues. Additional areas of interest include problems individually and in relationships impacted by chemical dependency and addiction problems, self image issues, trauma and abuse, and transgenerational patterns.

Jason’s approach to treatment is based on Family Systems work building insight into the cross-generational emotional and behavioral patterns that impact relationships and one’s own individual well-being in addition to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy including trauma-oriented work, adapting a solutions-oriented approach to help clients build on their strengths, and discovering healthier and more effective ways of managing daily life stressors while building towards personal growth and wellness.

When not working, Jason enjoys recreational sports in addition to broadening his knowledge of the recent developments in technology, scientific discovery, and media entertainment.
