Heidi Headding, MA, LMFT 38066
Heidi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist earning her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and has worked over 15 years as a counselor.
Her practice involves working with individuals, families, children and adolescents struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety and stress, grief and loss, PTSD, chronic pain, relationship issues, family conflicts and parenting including communication issues and phase of life issues.
Heidi’s approach to treatment is based on helping one resolve their current problems and long-standing patterns through self-awareness and positive change.
Her treatment philosophy is centered in the Mindfulness - Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach involving drawing from one’s strengths in order to create change and positive healthy coping skills, changing old maladaptive behavior patterns (broken records) and developing healthy new ones, and mindfully improving awareness of the mind and body connection.
Therapy can be short-term, focusing on specific issues, or long-term, addressing more complex issues and ongoing personality growth.
When not working, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Heidi sees patients at our Yorba Linda and Irvine locations.
