June is Men’s Health Month

Here are some sobering statistics:
-Men die five years younger than women
-Men die at higher rates from nine of the top ten causes of death
-Adult men in the United States visit primary care providers at lower
rates than adult women

Encourage the men in your lives to get a physical. Most of the factors
that contribute to men’s shorter, less healthy lives are preventable. And
that prevention starts with seeing a healthcare provider on a regular
basis. Establishing baselines for factors such as blood pressure,
cholesterol, weight, and PSA (a screening test for prostate cancer risk)—and monitoring how they change over time—will enable the provider to
catch potentially dangerous conditions early, when they’re still treatable. Reserve an appointment today.

$25 Physicals Summer is here and so is our special promotion for camp and sports physicals! Schedule a visit.

It's Our 20th Year Anniversary! In honor of our 20th year anniversary, Caduceus is highlighting one employee a month that has been with our
group since its inception.

June Honoree-
Gregg DeNicola MD, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. DeNicola founded Caduceus in 1999 after becoming increasingly frustrated with the healthcare landscape over the last 25 years.  Government mandates and  insurance regulations had eroded the doctor-patient relationship.  His vision was a community based physician owned and managed medical group that  would defy the traditional models of healthcare delivery.
He envisioned a practice that focused on innovation, easy access, and independence from bureaucracy, hospital systems, health plans, and most importantly from the pharmaceutical companies.  He was one of the first to advocate for a pharm-free patient experience and to this day Caduceus stays committed to a set of credos that focuses on patient advocacy and patient experience.
He has garnered local, regional and nationwide coverage for his philosophical approach to medicine.  Dr. DeNicola was an early adopter of creative vehicles for improving patient accessibility, designing a patient app many years before other practices embraced technology.  He was also recognized for his pro-active policy on patient reviews and online reputation management.
The Caduceus family congratulates our Chief Medical Officer and looks forward what the future brings for our medical group and the community.
