Dr. Zamiri earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Immunology (with honors) from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada, and completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, New York and Ohio campuses.
He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Canton Medical Foundation/Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Ohio in 2002, and successfully completed a two-year Fellowship in Rheumatology at Wake Forest School of Medicine.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
Since 2007, he has served as an assistant clinical professor of Biomedical Sciences at University of California, Riverside. He remains active in multiple professional associations, including the American College of Rheumatology, and the Arthritis Foundation.
