Cardiology

We're proud to offer a team of cardiologists for our patients: Drs. Weinberg, Bonavita, Weinstein, and Wadhwa.

David Weinberg, MD, FACC

Dr. Weinberg has cared for residents of Orange County for nearly 20 years. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from University of California, Los Angeles, and earned a Masters' degree in Epidemiology, as well.  He graduated medical school from University of California, Davis, completed his internship and residency at University of Michigan Hospitals, and completed a Cardiology fellowship from UCI, and a Pacing and Electrophysiology fellowship at Long Beach Memorial Heart Institute.

He is certified for both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is currently a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Orange County Medical Association, the American Medical Association and the California Medical Association.

He is on staff at St. Jude Medical Center and Placentia-Linda Hospital.

Frank Bonavita, MD 

Dr. Bonavita hails from the East Coast, but has provided cardiology services in Orange County since 1985. He certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at Brown University, and his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (North Shore University Hospital), as well as a fellowship in Cardiology.

Dr. Bonavita was a fellow in medicine and clinical associate in medicine at Cornell University Medical Center.

He is on staff at St. Jude Medical Center and Placentia-Linda Hospital.

Paul Weinstein, MD 

Dr. Weinstein provides cardiology services at our Yorba Linda campus; he is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases.

He received his undergraduate degree in Biology at University of California, Irvine, and completed medical school at Wayne State University in Michigan.  Dr. Weinstein returned to California and completed his internship, residency, and a cardiology fellowship at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles.

He is on staff at St. Jude Medical Center and Placentia-Linda Hospital.

Parvindar Wadhwa, MD

Dr. Wadhwa has provided cardiology services to patients in Orange County for nearly two decades and sees patients in our Irvine office.

He earned his medical degree and completed both his internship and residency from the Medical College of Rohtak, in India.  He completed a fellowship in cardiology from Brox Municipal Hospital (Albert Einstein Medical Center) and Baylor University Medical Center in Texas.

Dr. Wadhwa has been certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
